Lord of Le Manoir

Yesterday saw a very special job for Stylist.co.uk and a trip to the heart of Oxfordshire, to the exquisite
Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, home of Chef Raymond Blanc‘s two Michelin-starred restaurant. The assignment was to shoot Le Grand Chef demonstrating a dessert recipe right in the middle of his busy kitchen – which was a bit of a challenge – after which we shot little piece in his expansive fruit and vegetable garden, showing off some pretty impressive organic rhubarb. Needless to say, Chef Raymond’s take on the classic British crumble dessert, classed up with his homegrown rhubarb, fragrant Gariguette strawberries and light-as-air crumble disc was délicieux.
